Prior to joining VCE, Vidya served as President and CEO of Water and MSW at Essel Infraprojects. In this capacity, he handled large water-asset businesses and a broad portfolio of waste-to-energy projects in MSW. Before that, he was Group CEO for the India water business of Aqualyng and the Earth Water Group. He has also served as Executive Director and COO of Suez Environnement, a leading multinational corporation primarily involved in water, wastewater and solid waste management. Vidya’s other roles have included country head for French Water Major Degremont in India, which is part of the Suez Group; CEO and Director of Aireff Detox; Managing Director for KEC Campha, a subsidiary of KEC International, in Vietnam; and Regional Manager for RPG Transmission and KEC in Thailand. Vidya also served on the boards of Camfil Farr, Suez Environnement, Essel Energia, Earth Water Group companies, and the water assets of Clearwater. He is an advisor to the International Center for Clean Water – Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
