TAMAR PASHTAN
Strategic Impact Advisor
Tamar is Head of ESG & Impact at Vital Capital and is a Strategic Impact Advisor at VCE. Tamar designs and executes Vital’s cohesive, long-term impact strategy. She brings with her extensive knowledge of measurement and evaluation, and ESG implementation across multiple sectors and countries. With over a decade’s experience in social and environmental management, Tamar recommends and oversees the implementation of strategies that increase ESG and impact performance by tackling critical social issues that deliver impact at scale.
Tamar works closely with Vital’s portfolio companies to measure and manage their environmental and social impact performance and guides the screening potential investments, due diligence evaluations, and liaising with venture promoters, co-investors and professional resources. Prior to joining Vital Capital, Tamar held a variety of consultant roles that included the development of large-scale sustainable planning and infrastructure projects and the preparation of technical ESG assessments.
Tamar graduated from The University of Illinois with a BA in Urban & Regional Planning, where she participated in the Environmental Fellows program, followed by an MSc in Environmental Studies at Tel Aviv University.
